Healing isn’t about removing pieces of ourselves — it’s about learning how they belong in the mosaic.

At Tessera Counselling, we transform scattered experiences into a grounded path forward, providing a calm sanctuary to explore your narrative and embrace meaningful change.

The Mosaic of Healing: Our Mission & Values

Life experiences, emotions, and patterns often connect in ways that aren't immediately visible. At Tessera Counselling, therapy is a collaborative process of exploring these pieces and discovering how they fit together.

Compassion as Foundation

I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where your most vulnerable parts can be seen and understood with warmth. A strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust, I know counselling can feel uncomfortable and "clinical," which is why Tessera stands by authentic interactions that feel organic and human.

Authentic and Personalized

I believe effective counselling is not one-size-fits-all. Here, you'll find evidence-based care that is personalized to best suit you.

I believe that healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about honoring every piece of your story. Like a single tessera in a mosaic, each experience - no matter how small or fragmented - contributes to the beauty of the greater whole that makes you, you. I work alongside you to identify patterns and piece together a resilient, grounded, and intentional path forward.

Healing isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is my approach to counselling. I pull from multiple theories and interventions to create a plan that best suits you. As we go, we'll keep what fits, and shift what doesn't. I regularly update my training to follow current research and find new techniques and perspectives to support you.

The best healing comes when you're comfortable with your counsellor - it really is the most important part of the counselling process. I get that being open and vulnerable with someone can be scary, which is why I take every step to make sure you feel safe and supported throughout the process.
